Dawn Coupe built Equinox Consulting to solve a problem most growing businesses quietly dread: the founder bottleneck. When a company's entire operation runs through one person, growth stalls. Decisions slow. The business becomes fragile. Equinox helps those businesses fix that, through strategic process automation that removes the bottleneck and gives founders their business back.
The expertise was real. The results for clients were real. But none of that was coming through in how Equinox showed up in the world.
The brand didn't reflect who Dawn was or what Equinox actually did. The messaging was generic. The visual identity had no distinct point of view. And without a clear, consistent presence, Equinox was attracting the wrong type of enquiries, businesses that weren't a fit, burning time on conversations that went nowhere.

The Problem
Equinox had a positioning problem — and it was showing up in every part of the business.
No brand identity that felt like her
The existing brand had no clear personality, no visual cohesion, and no sense of who Equinox was for. It looked like every other consulting firm. Generic. Interchangeable. In a market where credibility is built on first impressions, blending in is a serious liability.

Without consistent, positioned content, Equinox had no way to build authority or attract the right audience organically. The opportunity to demonstrate expertise and generate demand was being left on the table.
Cause
Three things were working against Equinox:
- A brand built without strategic intent. The visual identity and tone had developed organically over time — not from a clear positioning decision. Without a deliberate foundation, nothing felt cohesive or ownable.
- Messaging written for everyone. When you try to speak to all potential clients, you speak clearly to none. Equinox's messaging didn't address a specific audience with a specific pain. It described services rather than outcomes.
- No content system to drive awareness. Without a structured social media kit aligned to Equinox's positioning, Dawn had no repeatable way to show up, build trust, and pull in the right prospects over time.
Together, these meant that Equinox's brand was working against the business — attracting the wrong people, failing to convert the right ones, and preventing Dawn from scaling her pipeline without burning more time on misaligned conversations.
