FAQs

What’s your process for branding and strategy projects?

For branding and strategy, I start with an in-depth discovery phase where we define your brand’s core values, target audience, and positioning. From there, I develop a visual identity that aligns with your business goals. The process is collaborative, and I ensure your new brand is ready to evolve with your business.

What’s included in the design retainers?

Design retainers give you monthly access to my services, including ongoing website updates, new page designs, branding tweaks, and more. The hours are flexible, and I tailor them to your needs, so your digital presence stays fresh and aligned with your growth.

What makes you different from a larger agency?

I offer a more streamlined process with a faster turnaround time. Because I handle both design and development myself, there’s no middleman or handoff that can slow things down. You work directly with me, so communication is clear and the process is efficient. Plus, everything I do is custom-built for your business—no templates.

What kind of results can I expect from working with you?

Clients I’ve worked with typically see increases in lead generation, higher conversion rates, and a digital presence that aligns better with their business’s growth trajectory. I don’t just design websites—I create solutions that help drive your business forward.

What kind of businesses do you work with?

I specialise in working with established businesses that are looking to scale. Most of my clients have been in business for 3-5+ years, have a team of 10-20 people, and are generating at least £200k in annual revenue. I work best with companies that are ready to invest in their digital presence as a tool for growth.

What happens if I need changes to my site after it’s launched?

If you need changes after launch, you have two options: either manage updates on your own using Webflow (I’ll train you on how to do this), or you can opt for ongoing support through a design retainer, where I’ll handle any updates or additions you need.

How much does a custom website typically cost?

A fully custom website typically starts at £10k, depending on the complexity and features required. I focus on delivering value, ensuring that your investment leads to a high-performing site that grows with your business.

How long does it take to build a custom website?

The timeline for a custom website depends on the scope of the project, but most sites are ready to launch within 6-10 weeks. I prioritize efficiency without cutting corners, so you get a high-quality site in a reasonable time frame.

How involved will I be in the design and development process?

You’ll be as involved as you’d like to be. I keep the lines of communication open throughout the entire project, with regular updates and opportunities for feedback at every stage—from initial concepts to final designs. If you prefer a hands-off approach, I’m comfortable leading the project and checking in with key decisions.

How do you ensure my website will generate leads and conversions?

I take a user-centred approach to design, ensuring your website looks great and guides visitors toward action. From intuitive navigation to strategically placed calls-to-action, I design with your business goals—like lead generation and conversions—in mind.

Do you work with existing designs, or do you only create from scratch?

If you already have a design in Figma or another platform, I can bring it to life using Webflow. I’m comfortable working with existing designs and ensuring they translate perfectly into a fully functional, responsive website.

Do you only work with Webflow?

While Webflow is my go-to platform for most projects due to its flexibility and ease of use for clients, I’m experienced in other platforms too. However, Webflow’s ability to give clients control over their website post-launch makes it my preferred choice.

Do you offer ongoing support after the website is launched?

Yes, I provide ongoing support through design retainers. Whether you need regular updates, new features, or design tweaks, I’m available to ensure your website evolves with your business.

Can you help with SEO and website performance optimisation?

Yes, I ensure every website I build is optimised for search engines and performance. From SEO-friendly structure to fast-loading pages, I incorporate best practices so your website not only looks great but also performs well online.

Can I manage my website after it’s built, or do I need to rely on you?

I build all my websites in Webflow, which gives you the freedom to update content, add pages, and make changes whenever you want—without needing to rely on a developer. I’ll also provide training so you feel confident managing your site.
