Sindri Consulting
Named after the dwarf who forged Thor's hammer. Built to feel like it.
Three governance and AI specialists with a sharp warning for regulated firms. No name yet, let alone a way to say it.
Sindri is an AI governance consultancy for regulated financial and professional services firms, founded by three specialists who had spent their careers inside the businesses they now advise. The expertise was deep and specific, assessing AI risk exposure, designing governance frameworks, building systems that survive regulator and board scrutiny. What didn't exist yet was a name, a way to explain it, or anywhere to send a prospective client.
Clarify — finding the name and the warning underneath it
Before any design work began, we worked through what they actually do differently from a general AI consultancy: they operate at the intersection of legal governance, data science, and software engineering, for an audience where AI failure isn't a product bug, it's a regulatory event. The name came out of that thinking. In Norse mythology, Sindri is the dwarf who forged Mjölnir, Thor's hammer, working precisely because the outcome had to be flawless, there was no room for a second attempt. That same idea of disciplined, high-stakes craft became the organising principle for the whole brand: not generic AI hype, but governed, deliberate, regulator-ready work, forged rather than assembled.
Craft — building a visual world around the forge
The mythology gave us a complete design language rather than a single motif. The wordmark itself carries it: interrupted, angular strokes that read as struck rather than drawn, closer to metal under a hammer than a typical sans-serif logotype. The colour palette stayed dark and elemental, near-black grounds, a single sharp accent green that reads like a struck spark against the dark, rather than a typical fintech blue. The homepage opens on a literal blacksmith's forge, sparks mid-strike, before a single word of copy is read. Every visual choice was tested against two requirements at once: does it feel like Sindri's own story, and does it read as serious to a board member at a regulated Jersey firm. Mythology that performed for the founders without performing credibility for the client would have been the wrong trade.
Convert — copy and a site built to make the risk concrete
The site's job is to make an abstract risk feel immediate. The headline doesn't say "AI consulting" it says your business is already exposed to AI risk, naming the exposure before naming the service. The four-question opening ("staff are already using ChatGPT," "no formal AI policy exists") forces recognition before any pitch. The core offer is a free AI Maturity Score, a low-commitment first step that does real diagnostic work and gives Sindri a qualified, warm lead before any sales conversation happens.
Continue — the partnership beyond launch
The engagement didn't end at handover. We work with Sindri every month on content, social, and visual assets, keeping the forge language and tone consistent as the business publishes insights and builds authority in the Jersey regulated-services market.
Delivered: brand strategy and identity, web design and development, messaging and copy, ongoing monthly content and social partnership.
